Dance Central (Kinect Game) Wiki

A Finishing Move is a move performed at the end of every routine in the Dance Central series. In most games, each song has a unique Finishing Move. In Dance Central Spotlight, Finishing Moves from previous games are reused and each Alternate Routine has its own Finishing Move.

Finishing Moves are scored like other moves, albeit with unique feedback. The ring around the dancer will simply turn red or yellow if the player earns an X or Almost rating respectively, earning a Nice rating will result in a Nice Finish, and earning a Flawless Rating will result in a Flawless Finish. In songs with two or three flashcards labeled "Finishing Move", the final rating is displayed on the last flashcard.

Trivia[]

  • At one of the builds of Dance Central shown at E3 2010, the Finishing Move is called the End Pose and the ratings the player can earn are "Nice Finish" and "Flawless Finish".
